He has advanced & improved many aspects of the Rugby program and I know he leaves a lasting memory on those he has coached and improved as players. Brian and his family have had a long association with our club and we look forward to them remaining a part of our strong Rugby community and we wish him well in his coaching future.”
Billy Melrose, MRFC Head Coach 2017-19 said: “I’ll be moving on after 3 years at the Marlins and take many successful memories of my days coaching at the Village Green . Not much better than a packed crowd of our local supporters and the boys playing with the attacking spirit we are renowned for . To the players , coaching staff and volunteers thanks for everything you have put in and achieved and I wish you all the best for the future.”
MRFC has commenced a process to consider suitable internal candidates and is also reviewing expressions of interest from external candidates. A decision will be made prior to the AGM and the 2020 pre-season.
