Head Coach - Brian Melrose
One of 4 successful rugby playing brothers, Brian (Billy) Melrose played over 270 1st grade games, winning 2 Shute Shields and contesting 4 Grand finals representing Parramatta and Eastwood until he retired at 37. After initial successful coaching stints at West Harbour and Manly, Brian went onto coach the Waratahs to Grand final and Finals appearances in 2005 & 2006 respectively. A minor premiership in the 2007 NRC with the Rams led Brian to the Australia 20s Head Coach role in 2008 before rebuilding Eastwood back to the top of the Shute Shield in 2010. Brian then moved to the UK to help revive Connacht’s fortunes in Ireland, which led into him becoming Elite player performance manager at London Irish. Brian has also had consultancy coaching roles within the NRL along with Fiji and Tonga on the international rugby stage.

2nd Grade Coach - Steve Talbot
Steve's illustrious playing career includes 120 1st grade games for southern Districts 94 - 2002, 37 Waratahs caps. (2 as Captain) 95-2002, Australian 7’s and club seasons in Canada, Portugal and Japan. As a coach Steve was invovled with the Waratahs Academy 2002-2004 (including B team and U 19’s), and was Southern Districts 1st grade assistant coach 2002 and Head Coach 2011 and Eastern Suburbs Head Coach of Colts 2005, 2nd Grade head coach (premiers 2009) and assistant 1st grade 2006-7
2nd Grade Assistant Coach - Dave Treweek
David Treweek’s playing career began in New Zealand, where he played for Thames Valley schoolboys & U21's, Club Thames, Hui Mai, Auckland and Pakaranga, before moving overseas to play for Irvine Coast and Southern California reps. Upon moving to Sydney, David played for Lane Cove. David’s coaching career has initially taken place at West Harbour, where he coached their Juniors, Junior Reps and Under 16 Reps. He then progressed to coach West Harbour Colts & Grade before taking up a coaching role at Manly for the 2016 season
3rd Grade Coach - Zak Beer
A Level 2 Coach, Zak has coached at Manly for over 10 years, beginning in 2005 coaching junior age groups from under 12-17s at Raiders, Roos and Manly Rep teams. He progressed to coaching representative Northern-Zone teams and was selected to coach NSW Under 15's who went on to win the National Championship. In 2011 Zak joined the Marlins Colts coaching ranks as Head Coach of 3rd Grade Colts - reaching the Grand Final going down to Sydney University. He then coached 2 years of 2nd Grade Colts reaching the Preliminary Final in consecutive years, finishing his time in Colts in 2014 as Assistant Coach of 1st Grade Colts. In 2015 Zak joined Grade as Head Coach of 4th Grade and went on to win the premiership for the first time since 1978. As a player Zak was a fullback and played with the Marlins from the Under 7s through to Colts where he captained the Under 19s Colts and toured Fiji, before injury meant that he focussed entirely on the coaching career that he had already embarked upon.
