The Manly Rugby Football Club (MRFC) has been playing in the First Grade Premiership competition for 106 years and is celebrating playing Rugby on Manly Oval (the Village Green), for 130 years starting way back in 1882.
Today, MRFC strives to be a leading sporting club in Australia. It aspires to own a winning culture on the field and leverage our demographics off the field for our business partners.
An important part of the Club's culture is to develop young men within our district and provide the opportunity to excel through sport and through social interaction.
In providing this culture, it is the Club's objective to become the club of choice for future champions and to become a genuine community asset.
MRFC plays in the Sydney Premiership competition and it fields four senior teams and three under 20 sides. In 2012 an Under 17 side will also be included.
The Marlins have been consistent final contenders over the last ten years and in 2011 6 out of the 7 teams competed in the finals and were 3rd in the Club Championship and 2nd in the Colts Championship. This will mean extra media exposure and Sponsor alignment with a successful club.
